Tyre dealers complain that their assembling machine is soiled by latex
Tyre sealants offer a temporary help to reach the next tyre dealer without problems. He clears the damage professionally. However - The tyre dealer has a negative attitude about tyre sealants. A dealer interview supported by BRV (National Association of Tyre Dealers, Germany) has shown that the tyre trade says no to tyre sealants predominantly. The reason is the latex base of most sealants. Latex provides sticky tires, rims and work equipment which only can be cleaned difficultly and time effortfully.
If the rim soiled with latex especially at the bead base isn't cleaned thoroughly, there is a danger of a durable loss of pressure. A pressure loss is dangerously, influencing the driving stability and may lead to the loss of the tread and to tyre-bursting.
